    Michelle Dockery was born Michellemary Hannah Redman on 15 December 1981 in Essex, England. She attended the East 15 Acting School in Loughton and made her screen debut as Betty in BBC’s 1992 TV series “A Respectable Trade”. Her other television credits include “Casualty” (2006), “Where the Heart Is” (2007), “Midsomer Murders” (2008), and “Five Days” (2009). In 2011 she was cast as Lady Mary Crawley in Julian Fellow.
